Construction on HVAC System: June 24 - September 13, 2019

New HVAC Improvement - 2nd Floor Scott Hall
In a project designed to improve the HVAC system in Scott Hall, the 2nd floor will be under construction throughout the summer and into the fall. The first phase will occur on the east side, facing Sheridan Road, from June 24, 2019 - August 3, 2019. Once this section concludes, the west side will begin from August 6, 2019 - September 13, 2019. During this time, workspaces will be blocked off and daily operations may be impacted.
For Department Members:
- For individuals located on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th floor, construction noises will be audible as the construction will center on the duct system; however, volume level will be TBD.
- Staff might need to work in various locations, depending on noise level.
- The kitchen and copier/mail room is expected to remain open during the project with some limited downtime. We will alert you when we receive advanced notice.
- 1st phase: June 24 – August 3: The east side on the 2nd floor will be first impacted.
- 2nd phase: August 6 – September 13: The west side of the 2nd floor will be impacted.
- Room 212 will be unavailable from June 24th - September 13th.
- The Ripton Room (201) will have limited availability during this project.
For Department Visitors:
- We strongly recommend contacting us via email in advanced of a visit.
- Should you come to the 2nd floor and cannot locate staff, please be aware that might have had to move. We will have appropriate signage to reflect this.
- Staff might need to work in various locations, depending on noise level.
