How to Declare a Major

Students must meet with one of the undergraduate advisors.

Below are the steps to take in declaring a major:

Interested students should meet with on of the departmental faculty advisors during their posted office hours.

The faculty advisors will provide a "declaration of major form" and will advise students on taking the necessary courses to become a major.

The advising faculty will issue a signed 'Declaration of Major Form'.

The completed and signed form must be submitted to Bonnie Gordon, Undergraduate Program Assistant, in Scott Hall, Room 200. Upon submitting the form to Ms. Gordon, you will be directed to the Weinberg Advising Office at 1922 Sheridan.
